‘The Side Effects of Urethane’ was a group of skateboarding affiliated people who put on collective art shows centred around the creating of an indoor structure to skate. There were three in which I was involved. 'Moving Units' in July 2004 was the second.

I designed the type and artists logos for this, hotly anticipated, yearly issue. It features ten rappers to look out for in the coming year. April 2016.

Isn’t every year a reincarnation of every other year?

Why a 30 year anniversary?

Why not a 29 year or 31 year anniversary? 

Why not an anniversary every year, month, 

week, day, hour, minute and second?’

This model was built to illustrate an article about Paul Mathews, the world’s pre-eminent ski resort designer. It was used as the cover for their Norwegian Air in-flight magazine. November 2014 issue.

I was left to design and build my own ski resort so I included a mountain top hang out spot, snow sculptures, hectic sledding chute and tropical bio-domes!

I was asked by Aol to be part of their Artists series. They chose this coral piece for this and to display in their New York offices. Expanding foam, Super Sculpey, polystyrene, pipe-cleaners, breakfast cereal and lichen. August 2010.

I was contacted by Nuala of this Argentinian based band and asked to draw an image as part of their album cover. November 2012

‘Walter’ - Spurting forth from the pipe wearing Pointer shoes is Walter. Built from expanding foam, with a copper pipe, polystyrene, duct tape and mesh armature. I used a hollow mannequin leg as a mould for the legs and feet… and a pair of rubber gloves for the hands. These were filled with expanding foam and altered to create the different positions. ‘Coral’ - Hand built coral outcrop with shoes as fish. I used a milk crate, MDF sheet and polystyrene to create the armature. This was then covered in expanding foam. I made the coral from expanding foam, breakfast cereal, toothpicks, wood and polystyrene. Art directed by Play Area. 2006

‘Stalactite/Stalagmite’ - Made from hard and soft expanding foam over wooden armatures. That’s me lying there. Art direction by Play Area. 2007

‘Box Stack’ - Created from ordinary cardboard boxes which were counterweighted/balanced to be self-supporting. Spray paint and Posca. Art direction by Play Area. January 2009.

I co-designed and built the models for these title sequences for Dutch kids TV show Het Klokhuis (The Apple Core). 

We decided to use 3D printing to create the apples themselves, this meant that they would all be the exactly the same. We also used 3D printing to create the ‘melting microwave apple’ in the sequence, 25 of these had to be printed to make the sequence. All the other models were hand built.

Netflix - ‘The Red Menace’

I built this cave model for SBS 2, an Australian TV station. It was for a print campaign…

‘Sproutland’ model for American Spirit, Japan. Used for their match gallery matchbooks. Mixed materials. 2011.

I hand drew a tessellating panel for this umbrella. The print is on the inside so you can enjoy it while the rain falls or the sun is too hot.

Three shoe models for athletes foot cream Lamisil’s ‘Stop the Spread’ campaign. Agency - Saatchi & Saatchi, Frankfurt. Created using various materials on pairs of size UK8 shoes. March 2009.

I designed this pair of modular art figurines. They interact and fit together in 12 different ways.

The balls are power/bouncy balls and are of a standard size so you can replace and customise the ‘Eyedra’ model. The printed main ball is also glow in the dark.

This is the second shoe textile print I designed for Pointer Footwear. Again it’s tessellated so that no two pairs are the same. Pen and paper. December 2008

These stickers came with a mini-speaker and could be wrapped around it. Each one depicts the increase in volume from meek to mega! 2009.

I designed these embroidered patches for Nike for their ‘Palais of Speed’ event at the Palais de Tokyo, Paris. The event was based around the European Cup 2016. June 2016.
